Hello Daniel, you’re a brand-new member of the VSF Sports Racing team. Could you introduce yourself and tell us a little about your racing background?
I started racing in karting at five years old. I did twelve years in karting, and I'm currently in karting. I’ve been racing for many team but the last few years I’ve been racing for Pantano racing team, who’s the owner is Georgio Pantano an ex Formula 1 driver. He was pretty good at karting and also in Formula 1.I’m currently racing in KZ category with the Pantano Racing Team. I developed the chassis with him.
After your years in the Spanish F4 championship, you recently had the opportunity to test the Ligier JS2 R. What were your impressions?
I really loved the experience. I felt great, the car is agile and has great potential... Right now, I can't wait to be in Barcelona to race.

I imagine you were courted by many teams during the offseason. What made you decide to sign with VSF Sports Racing?
I joined VSF Sports racing because I really like endurance races, and I also like GT cars. Steven contacted me (thanks for that), to join his team, who’s a really competitive team from my point of view. The opportunity is really great for me to drive in the type of championship and try to win the championship hopefully.
You already have a lot of great experience. Now you’re taking on a new challenge in the Ligier European Series. What attracted you to this championship?
I really like to race in endurance. For me I rather than formulas racing. And the Ligier European Series is a really great category to start. Also I like GT and it’s really close to that so I can’t wait to start the season.
How did you get into motorsports? What got you hooked?
Since I was five I really like cars and joigned a karting shool in valencia and that where everything start.
What do you do when you’re not racing?
When I’m not on track, I’m basically at school. When I’ve got a little free time, I really enjoy sim racing and spending time in the gym. Because I think we have to be strong to win races. To win, you have to have an excellent physique.
Which race or track this season are you most looking forward to, and why?
I would really like to race in Le Mans since we are racing on the same weekend as the test of 24hours of Le Mans. And also I never been before, and I really like the track, I played a lot on the sim.
Finally, the classic question! What are your goals and ambitions for this year?
My goal for this year is trying to do my best and I really want to win the championship with my team mate and the team ! And of course bring the best for the team.
